Agnes attended a rigorous four year medical program at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas where she earned her masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine [MAcOM]. She began expanding her knowledge by attending seminars and focus group meetings in Functional Medicine. By developing a strong understanding of blood chemistry; including blood cell counts, various hormone levels and other various diagnostic lab results, she is able to offer her patients an ideal approach to wellness.
Before her graduate level education, Agnes earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Medical Technology and Microbiology at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. After moving to San Francisco/Bay Area, she spent over 10 years researching various immunological conditions, mainly focusing on Breast and Ovarian Cancer, and Heart Disease. She has published articles in a number of journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and presented posters at scientific conferences. Agnes believes each patient is a unique individual in various stages of health. She strives to be an active partner in her patients' recovery. She provides compassionate care with an emphasis on teaching her patients to live rich, healthy and long lives.
